Low Cost Airline
Air Arabia Egypt, Egypt's first international low cost carrier based in Borg El Arab, commenced flights on June 1st 2010, beginning with Kuwait, Sudan and Lebanon.
Building upon Air Arabia's existing services to 57 destinations in 11 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia the new airline contributes to the on-going development of the Egyptian travel and tourism sector as well as offers a larger base of customers' best value for money air travel.
Travco Group is utilizing its extensive network of tour operators to strategically position and market this airline as Egypt's first low-cost airline.
The new carrier, whose operations are managed by the Air Arabia Group, follows the successful low-cost model pioneered in the Middle East and North Africa by Air Arabia.
