With Travco Group's latest acquisition of Steigenberger Hotels AG, the company's portfolio grew to a staggering 149 hotels, resorts and cruises present in Europe and the Middle East.
Steigenberger Hotels AG is Travco Group's stepping stone to international presence, as well as it's entry into the city hotel business. With this addition, and through its hotel subsidiaries, Travco Group now manages 81 new hotels in strategically significant locations in Germany and major European cities. The words "Made in Germany" are recognized worldwide as representing the highest standards of quality, and the name Steigenberger has been synonymous for first-class German and European hotel business, quality and integrity for almost eight decades.
In the Middle East, Jaz Hotels, Resorts & Cruises, Travco Group's hospitality arm, oversees 50 hotel properties located in prime holiday destinations namely Cairo, Ain Sokhna, Hurghada, Madinat Makadi, Safaga, Marsa Alam, Sharm El Sheikh, Taba, Dahab, Luxor, and Aswan, to name a few. Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates also houses one of the company's hotel properties, with further underway in the region.
Furthermore, the company's hospitality arm oversees Travcotels, the group's Nile Cruise company that owns and operates Egypt's most sophisticated and largest fleet of 22 cruise ships, with more under development. With their comfort and luxury, these 'floating hotels' offer an unparalleled experience of Egypt through a river tour of the country's historical and cultural grandeur.
Having achieved extensive market coverage in Egypt and Europe through its existing and newly acquired hotel brands, Travco Group eyes further expansions internationally, and this is in addition to further bolstering its Middle East presence.
