Travco’s hospitality management company, JAZ Hotels & Resorts, owns and manages a growing collection of 33 hotels and resorts across Egypt and the Middle East under three brands: JAZ, Sol Y Mar and Iberotel Hotels and Resorts. JAZ Hotels & Resorts’ management arm extends to JAZ Cruises and Travcotels, Travco’s cruise companies that own and operate Egypt’s most sophisticated fleet of 19 cruise ships. With their comfort and luxury, these ‘floating hotels’ offer an unparalleled experience of Egypt, through a river tour of the country’s historical and cultural grandeur.
With a vision to create complete resort experiences, Travco has also masterminded four large-scale destination resorts at Madinat Makadi, Almaza Bay, Madinat Coraya and Mirabel Resort in Nabq. These large-scale developments feature hotel, retail and tourist facilities – as well as extensive residential developments.
Having achieved extensive market coverage in Egypt, JAZ Hotels & Resorts has taken serious steps towards expanding its presence into the region with the opening of its first five-star property in the United Arab Emirates, with further plans in other Middle East destinations. Between 2008 and 2012, the company will continue to roll out a series of new hotel properties in the Mediterranean, Middle East and Southeast Asia
