Iberotel Il Mercato Hotel to Begin Operations

Jaz Hotels, Resorts & Cruises, Travco Group’s hospitality company, recently announced the opening of its 12th hotel property in Sharm El Sheikh: Iberotel Il Mercato Hotel.

Iberotel Il Mercato Hotel is an exclusive five star hotel located in Hadabet Um El Seed – the centre of Il Mercato Promenade, which is home to some of the biggest international brands, offering residents of Sharm El Sheikh, as well as visitors, an enchanting shopping experience away from the city’s chaos. Designed by the world renowned Italian architect Daniele Morelli, the property will comprise 276 comfortable and pleasantly furnished guest rooms offering a refreshing and relaxing atmosphere.

Special facilities at the Iberotel Il Mercato include a luxury SPA, four swimming pools, and water sports and diving centers. Dining options are multiple, with four different restaurants offering different cuisines, including the main one which could seat up to 500 people at once. Dining outlets are not limited to that, but there is a wide selection of restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes at Il Mercato promenade, which is the perfect place to take long strolls and explore the many fine cuisines on site. Additional facilities include fully equipped meeting and conference facilities, 24-hour room service, wireless internet access, and telephone and fax services.

Businessmen and MICE groups, regardless of their size, are very well catered to at the Iberotel Il Mercato, as the property includes two well equipped meeting rooms and a large conference room.

Ras Um El Seed, where the hotel is situated, is the cliff top area that links Na'ama Bay and the bay of Sharm El Maya. It is about a 5-minute drive from Sharm in one direction and Na'ama in the other. Ras Um El Seed is also famous for its coral reefs, and has a very high cliff where all the hotels are situated.

Jaz Hotels, Resorts & Cruises currently owns and/or manages 11 hotel properties in the city of Sharm El Sheikh, all falling under its flagship brands Jaz, Iberotel and Sol Y Mar Hotels and Resorts.
