German Journalists Promote Egypt

Sol Y Mar Dar El Madina was selected by a team of German journalists to host their visit to Egypt, and the visit was designed to promote Marsa Alam as one of Egypt’s hot spots.

The members’ itinerary entailed a 3 day visit to Madinat Coraya with a very busy agenda. On the 24th of November, they arrived to Marsa Alam International Airport, and enjoyed dining at Sol Y Mar Dar El Madina. The 25th marked a jam packed day for the delegation, as their agenda didn’t stop at the conference, but they held a workshop too that was addressed by Mr. Guido Wieling. During the workshop, he exposed the key factors that lead to the popularity of Egypt amongst the German holiday makers, adding that big part of it is because of the Tour Operators' efforts in contracting with top selling hotels, adopting the ever popular all-inclusive concept, cooperating with modern and new hotels, enjoying attractive rates, in addition to the sound relationship with Travco Group. He highlighted that Egypt holds endless attractions for German tourists, and that they will be digging for further opportunities in new and upcoming destinations such as Mersa Matruh, Ain Sokhna, South Coast of Mersa Alam, Sharm El Shiekh, Sahl Hashish, and Bernice.

The delegation and the journalists were tremendously impressed by Madinat Coraya, and especially the elegant Dar El Madina. They expressed their amusement by the premier standards of service, unsurpassed quality, upscale facilities, and organization; additionally, they were highly interested in Travco Group’s products and services.

The trip, which was organized by 1-2 Fly in coordination with Travco, witnessed the launch of the 1-2 Fly summer 2010 brochure. As a result of the positive feedback that Sol Y Mar Dar El Madina received from its guests, it was decided to start operation of its label Solino in the hotel. Solino is a program that is designed especially for kids and offers them a multitude of entertaining activities including kids’ show, kids’ theater, sports club, and swimming courses.

The group enjoyed exploring the hidden entertainment of the Red Sea as they went for a safari and snorkeling trip, followed by experiencing the warm hospitality of Jaz Hotels, Resorts & Cruises through attending the farewell dinner that was organized for them.
